Alison Hine

Alison Hine is a Textile Artist who creates abstract images from rich colours, shapes and textures created by experimenting and manipulating fabrics and dyed papers, creating a 3D effect. Having taught creative textiles for many years, Alison is fascinated by wonderful patterns, depth of colour and the complexities of shape and form in everything that surrounds us, and the most mundane of objects can create inspiration for her work.
