We are delighted with these sixteen images from the photographer Den Reader who has been taking photographs since the age of ten, when he started with an old Box Brownie. Since then his work has appeared in shows and collections all over the world. As these images show Den is fascinated by the detailed elements of natural form. He captures fleeting impressions that sum up an essence of each plant. These days he shoots on colour transparency film with a manual camera, preferring fewer distractions so that he can concentrate on his subject and aim to avoid the obvious" and focus on a "less is more" approach."
