Rob Highton

Robert Highton originally trained in Illustration in Liverpool before locating to London. He has worked as a painter and artist in a variety of roles from visualising architectural projects to painting sporting and music personalities. Rob's recent work is absorbed with the abstract effect of computer manipulation on his own drawings, as well as superimposed textures and colours. His 'Equine' series is inspired by the powerful movements of the galloping horse. He uses passionate, primitive-style visual snapshots to convey the thundering of hooves and free-flowing movements of a horse in motion, with dramatic results.
