I have been taking pictures since I was given a Konica Rangefinder camera when I was 17, which was when the world was still in black and white and colour hadn't been invented.

I specialise in macro photography of nature, but I am also very interested in all shapes and patterns, including both classical rural scenes and urban landscapes. I get mightily annoyed if I see a good image and don't have my camera with me - since a fabulous image can pop up anywhere at any time!

A good image is a labour of love; and some are easier than others to realise but all require a lot of application and thought.
