We're proud to present a selection of work by artist Gerry Dudgeon. His semi-abstract paintings, based on travels in Greece and India, are internationally collected and exhibited. The Greek series is based on Gerry's experiences diving in the Aegean and the Indian series are a response to journeys in Rajasthan, North West India. In both cases transparent layers of paint capture the elements of heat, light and colour that characterise their environment; whether it be the shafts of light and fleeting shapes under the sea or the arid landscape and artefacts of the desert. Gerry prefers to avoid literal description in painting in favour of inviting the viewer's personal interpretation.
