Following her graduation in Fine Art practice, Carole earned her living as a photographer. She has retired from commercial photography but concentrates on producing fine art photography, including prints produced using alternative and historic processes.
Carole is fascinated by patterns and abstract images in nature and plays with texture, colour, shape and photographic processes. "I may see a view from an airplane window; I may pass an interesting woodland changing with the seasons; I may recall memories of interesting characters and faces from childhood or encounter them during daily life; I may retain a mental image of an abstract impression of street furniture, a person or a landscape."
Carole also offers courses and private tuition. She feels a responsibility to pass on her years of experience and knowledge to upcoming talent.
