Ross Hoddinott has had a passion and enthusiasm for the natural world since an early age, when much of his time was spent peering into ponds and exploring the meadowlands near his parent's home in Cornwall. His parents introduced him to photography, and he has been recording wildlife on film ever since. He uses a huge variety of natural subjects in his work in his quest to illustrate the beauty and importance of the natural world with his camera, and mostly enjoys close-up and scenic photography. Ross has an impressive resume, winning prizes such as the prestigious title of 'BBC Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year'. He has his photographs and written articles published in a variety of publications, including BBC Wildlife, and his work is represented by several picture agencies and photography magazines.
